Washington DC - At Christmas
Pictures enlarge if you click on them.
Catherine and I took vacation time and went to see Washington DC at Christmas using free air miles from Southwest airlines. I have been to Washington DC many times on business and for pleasure and Catherine visited there once without me, but we had never been there together. You can see the "People's Tree" in front of the Capital Building.
This memorial inside the Union Station in Washington DC includes the name of my Uncle Ernest L. Russ. I knew him as Uncle Rascal. His name is third on the far right hand column.
