Swiss Alps - The Schilthorn
The pictures ENLARGE if you click on them.
View of the mountains, Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau from the gondola (cable car) on our trip to the top of the Schilthorn. The three mountains are sometimes literally referred to as the Orge (Eiger), Monk (Monch), and Young lady (Jungfrau). Here you can see the gondola terminal at the alpine town of Murren.

Catherine on the summit of the Schilthorn. The day we were there the it was cool, but not terribly cold. It is best to arrive at the summit early, because the clouds often move in later during the day. While we were there, the clouds did move , but also moved away at times to reveal the Alps around us.
