Trip to Yellowstone National Park

The pictures ENLARGE if you click on them.
Catherine and I flew to Salt Lake City, rented a car, and started driving towards Yellowstone National Park. I was happy to be back on the road.
Along the way we saw great scenery, including the Logan Canyon and Bear Lake.

The small town of Afton, Wyoming claims to have the "World's Largest Elkhorn Arch". The arch contains over 3,000 elk antlers.

Jackson is a town located in the Jackson Hole valley of Teton County, Wyoming. There are large arches of shed elk antlers at the entrances to the town square.

We had a great meal at the Snake River Grill in Jackson, Wyoming. It is a steak and seafood restaurant.

Hi John, just found that had not seen this one. Lovely pictures! It's amazing how we took pictures at the same spots: Afton here, Jackson here...
See the differences!
Meanwhile, at Blogtrotter I finished my Greek Islands 2006 adventure with a post on Cretan Towns!
Enjoy and have a great weekend. Happy Easter!

I love Yellowstone National Park. I have been there twice and hope to take my wife there next year when we visit the states again, from the UK.
